From Girona airport to Girona city centre by car

 The journey will take you 20 minutes. On leaving the airport, follow the signs to the AP7 motorway. It´s the next one after the Novotel hotel exit. You´ll reach a toll booth where you´ll take a ticket (you´ll have to pay 1 euro at the next booth) After the first booth take the road leading to Girona and Francia, which will take you to the AP7 motorway. Drive for 10-15 minutes and take exit number 7, which says Girona Sur (exit is ´salida´or ´sortida´). After this you´ll pass various roundabouts; follow the signs saying Girona centre.

From Girona airport to Girona city centre by bus

The easiest way to get to Girona airport from Girona city centre is using the Barcelona Bus service (part of the Sagales company). They leave every hour on the hour from Girona Bus Station, and the journey takes 25 minutes. The last bus leaves at 22.00. From Girona airport, the buses leave at 30 minutes past each hour. All departures from Central bus station in Girona. The bus station is located next to the train station. All the year around, except for 24, 26, 31 December and 1 January, without service. Girona bus station is well connected to the main cities in Girona province, such as Figueres, Barcelona airport, and other destinations.
