From Girona city centre to Girona airport by car

 The journey will take you 20 minutes. On leaving the Girona, follow the signs to the AP7 motorway. You´ll reach a toll booth where you´ll take a ticket (you´ll have to pay 1 euro at the next booth) After the first booth take the road leading to Barcelona, which will take you to the AP7 motorway. It´s the next one after the Novotel hotel exit. Drive for 10-15 minutes and take exit number 7, which says Girona Airport (exit is ´salida´or ´sortida´). After this you´ll pass various roundabouts; follow the signs saying Girona Airport.

The approximate cost to take a taxi from Girona center to Girona airport is about 20 to 25 euros. We recomend you to choose this method if you are around 4 people or if you do not want to wait to long for the next bus.

From Girona city centre to Girona airport

The easiest way to get to Girona Airport from Girona city centre is using the Barcelona Bus service (part of the Sagales company). They leave every hour on the hour from Girona Bus Station, and the journey takes 25 minutes. The last bus leaves at 22.00. From Girona airport, the buses leave at 30 minutes past each hour. All departures leave from Girona´s central bus station. The bus station is located next to the train station. The airport bus operates all year round, except for 24, 26, 31 December and 1 January. Girona bus station is well connected to the main towns and cities in the Girona province, such as Figueres, Barcelona airport, and other destinations.

Passengers should arrive at the airport for check-in at least 1 hour before departure time. The company accepts no responsibility for failure to do so.
